Chicago and Beyond...
I was recently in Chicago with my theatre company, Tut'Zanni, creating our next Commedia dell'Arte show, called "Love Letter Lost". Along with co-writing and co-directing it with the other members of my company, I played the young lover Fabrizio, plotting revenge after his mother forbids him from marrying his one true love, as well as the brash but skittish Capitano, for whom the only thing larger than his nose is his ego. Here's a link to a short video of some of my scenes from the show. I had a fantastic time performing in Chicago and exploring the city -- I wrote about my experience here.
Our plan is to bring the show to the Capital Fringe Festival in Washington DC next summer as well as a few more festivals down the road, and I hope to teach more Commedia dell'Arte and physical theatre workshops along the way!
