Check out this two-minute teaser of Tut'Zanni Theatre Company's new show, Love Letter Lost! We loved our audiences (and our reviews!) at Capital Fringe in DC and can't wait to bring the show to Seattle, San Francisco, and Los Angeles in 2015!
I just celebrated 7 years in LA! Here are three of the lessons I've learned in that time:

1. If you're in the entertainment industry, have friends that aren't. Treasure them. They will keep you sane and grounded and remind you there's life beyond the audition waiting room and your ever-fluctuating IMDb STARmeter ranking.

2. Look up at night. Despite the city lights, LA's skies are way clearer at night than I'd ever seen on the East Coast. It's not hard to see Jupiter, Mars, Venus, and many stars most nights. Drive a short ways outside the city and you might be able to spot meteors, satellites, and the glittering band of the Milky Way galaxy.

3. Experiences last; material possessions don't. It's counterintuitive, I know. But a pair of nice jeans can get worn out, a car can be totaled in an instant. After seven years, what's stayed with me are the hikes, the nights out with friends, the performances, the strolls through museums and downtown, and the day trip adventures all over the Southland. Fewer things. More doing.
